01Choose the action type.
In the calculator, search by the action's name — for example 'divorce by agreement', 'appeal', 'presidential ordinance'. Sigilia recognises more than 100 judicial action types under Romanian Emergency Ordinance 80/2013. For evaluable actions an extra field opens for the claim value, meaning the amount disputed before the court.
Tip.If the exact action is not listed, pick the closest generic type and write to us at contact@sigilia.veloxnest.click. We issue the proof manually with the correct wording.
02Check the calculated amount.
In the 'Ledger · to pay' panel you see, transparently, the judicial stamp tax that goes to the court's local treasury, the Sigilia service commission and the bank transfer cost. The total is the exact amount charged to the card. All three components are shown before payment, with no hidden costs.
Tip.For high-value claims above 195,000 Lei, the calculator shows a ceiling warning. You can contact us for a manual quote.
03Fill in the identification details.
Below the calculator, four sections are completed: the payer with first and last name and, optionally, CNP plus identity document; the address with county, city and street; contact details with email, phone and email confirmation; and the judicial action, with a case number if a file is already open. The data entered appears on the proof of payment and on the Mandate Contract — check it carefully before continuing.
Tip.The email confirmation field reduces the risk of a typo. The proof of payment reaches the address you enter within minutes of confirmation.
04Accept the Terms, GDPR and Mandate Contract.
Three boxes are ticked before payment: the Terms and Conditions of use, the Privacy Policy (GDPR) and the Mandate Contract under Romanian Civil Code articles 2009 and following. Acceptance of the Mandate Contract is required because Sigilia pays the tax on your behalf, as your mandatary. Read the full text on the /mandat page before accepting.
Tip.On acceptance, Sigilia records the IP address and exact time for audit. The contract content is versioned (slug 'mandat-2026-04') so it can be reproduced identically in case of a dispute.
05Pay by card through Stripe.
After you confirm the summary, Sigilia redirects you to the secure Stripe page. Payment is made by Visa, Mastercard or Maestro card, with bank authentication by SMS or the bank's mobile app. Sigilia does not see or store card details. If the payment fails at the bank — insufficient funds, expired card, ceiling exceeded — return to Sigilia and try with a different card.
Tip.Cards issued outside Romania are accepted, but some banks may request additional checks. Allow two or three minutes for the processor to confirm the transaction.
06Receive the proof by email.
Within minutes of payment confirmation, you receive a PDF by email with the heading 'Judicial stamp tax — Romanian Emergency Ordinance 80/2013'. The document carries your name, the amount paid, the local treasury beneficiary account, the payment date and a verification QR code. The proof is accepted in court under article 33 of Romanian Emergency Ordinance 80/2013 and can be printed or attached electronically to the filed claim.
Tip.If the email does not arrive within five minutes, check the Spam folder. If it is still missing after 30 minutes, write to us and we resend free of charge, to a different address if needed.
